The inspection problem
A paper visitor log is not a safeguarding system.
International schools in the UAE are inspected by KHDA in Dubai and ADEK in Abu Dhabi. Both frameworks include expectations around visitor management, site security, and the ability to account for every adult on campus. A sheet signed at the front desk does not meet that standard.

Designated safeguarding leads can flag specific student records with a custody alert or restricted-access note. When a visitor signs in and selects a student by name, the system checks for flags and notifies the safeguarding lead by in-app alert, SMS or email before entry is granted.
