Is MyGatePass compliant with the DIFC Data Protection Law 2020?
MyGatePass is designed to support compliance with the DIFC Data Protection Law 2020, DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020. Visitor data is processed on a defined legal basis, stored with configurable retention limits, and securely deleted on schedule. Our DIFC DPL compliance guide covers the detail. Can we capture NDA signatures digitally at sign-in?
Yes. Any visitor category can be configured to require acceptance of a document before sign-in completes, whether an NDA, a data handling notice or a health and safety briefing. The acceptance is stored as a timestamped digital record and can be exported.
We are a multi-tenant building with 20 companies. How does host notification work?
Each tenant registers their team in MyGatePass independently. When a visitor arrives for a specific employee, that employee is notified directly by app, SMS, Teams or Slack, without going through a central building receptionist.
Does it work for ADGM as well as DIFC?
Yes. The same controls support the ADGM Data Protection Regulations 2021, and the platform is also aligned to UAE PDPL and GDPR for offices outside the financial free zones.
Can we revoke a visitor pass partway through an engagement?
Yes. Passes can be scoped to specific dates and areas, and an active pass can be revoked in real time from the management dashboard, which matters for auditors and consultants on longer engagements.
Do we need to replace our reception hardware?
